It can accelerate literature discovery, summarization, coding, analysis, and writing—but it can also introduce subtle errors, shallow synthesis, and overconfident claims. This thesis investigates how to use AI without weakening research quality, and how to teach AI-supported research practices that hold up under academic standards.
